October
25--Join with One Kalamazoo and the fight for equal rights in Kalamazoo, Sunday, October 25
for the 2009 Kalamazoo Equality March! One Kalamazoo is the campaign working to pass Kalamazoo’s
Anti-Discrimination Law (Ordinance 1856). And on November 3rd, voters will decide if Kalamazoo will change for the better
or continue with business as usual.
In fact, fewer than 500 voters will make that decision…and Kalamazoo
can make sure we remain welcoming and accepting of gay and transgender people by voting YES on 1856.
On Sunday,
October 25th the One Kalamazoo Student Action Team will be leading a march from The WMU Peace Center (@ the flagpoles) to
The Strutt (773 W Michigan Ave), to show our solidarity. The event begins at 12:00 p.m
